A fire has broken out at a slum in the capital’s Rayer Bazar area near Sikder Medical College and Hospital.
Fire Service and Civil Defence control room OC Enayet Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that the fire erupted at the slum around 9:40am on Monday.
On information, four units of fire-fighters went to the spot and doused the fire.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
