A Narayanganj court has ordered the authorities concerned to publish advertisement in newspapers asking 13 fugitives in Narayanganj seven-murder case to surrender before the court.
The court of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate HM Shafiqul Islam passed the order on Wednesday, rejecting the bail plea of ex-RAB official Lt Col Tarek Syed Mohammad.

The court also fixed November 9 for submitting the copy of the advertisement.
The case will be shifted to the Judge court for further proceedings following the submission of the copy of the advertisement.
During Wednesday's hearing, accused Ruhul Amin, a former lance corporal at Bangladesh Army, who gave confessional statement under Section 164 earlier, filed a plea seeking withdrawal of his statement.

Narayanganj City Corporation panel mayor Nazrul and lawyer Chandan Sarkar along with five others were killed following their abduction on April 27, 2014.
Later their bodies surfaced in the Sitalakhya river on April 30.
Autopsy report said they were murdered by professionals.
Allegations rose against three RAB officials to have been involved in the murder in exchange of money – Tk6 crore, as alleged by the father-in-law of Nazrul Islam.

Fingers were also pointed at another local Ward Counsillor Nur Hossain, who managed to flee to Kolkata from within the surveillance net of the law enforcers.
The three RAB officials are former Narayanganj RAB 11 commanding officer Tarek Syed Mohammad, Nahir Arif Hossain and Lt Commander SM Rana.
Among them, Syed is the son-in-law of Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya who had strongly said “none of his family was involved in the killing.”
