The High Court has rejected a writ petition filed seeking seeking the scrapping of the medical and dental college admission test.

An HC bench comprising of Justice Naima Haider and Justice JN Deb Choudhury passed the order after hearing arguments from Attorney General Mahbubey Alam on Monday afternoon.

During the argument, he said an investigation will be conducted regarding the allegations of question paper leak.

Those who are found involved with the leak and have passed with its help will be dropped from admission, Mahbubey Alam said.

The attorney general also added that the results of thousands of students cannot be cancelled for the sake of a few students who have allegedly passed the examinations with the help of leaked question paper.

On the other hand, Supreme Court lawyer Eunus Ali Akond said he would file another writ petition with the High Court regarding the matter.

Akond filed the writ petition with the High Court on Sunday.
