Unknown miscreants have hurled two crude bombs at the parked car of State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam in Rajshahi's Charghat area.
Police said both the bombs exploded beside the state minister’s car parked in front of the conference room of Sardaha Degree College while the he was holding a meeting with the college authorities.
Charghat police station ASI Kamrul Islam said: “The explosions took place around 8pm Friday. No causalities have been reported.”
When contacted, OC Alamgir Hossain, who is accompanying the state minister, told the Dhaka Tribune: “SI Abdul Alim filed a case in this connection the same night and the police have collected evidence from the spot.
“Further investigation is underway. We are trying to capture the criminals.”
