Malaysian police investigating death of Bangladeshi man in Kuala Lumpur

Malaysian police have initiated a murder investigation over the death of a Bangladeshi man following a fight along Jalan Imbi in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. Dang Wangi Officer in Charge of Police District (OCPD) Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohd Sukri Kaman said police were informed about the incident at Jalan Walter Genier Off Jalan Imbi around 9:30am, reports The Sun Daily. "We received information about a fight. When our men arrived at the scene, the victim had already been taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) in an ambulance. "Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim died in HKL," he said in a statement yesterday. ACP Mohd Sukri said the victim was a 28-year-old Bangladeshi national. He said the cause of death and the motive for the incident are being investigated.
