Imran: Attacks on Gonojagoron Moncho to conceal flood situation

Gonojagoron Moncho spokesperson Imran H Sarkar on Sunday alleged that miscreants carried out the repeated attacks on its activists recently to conceal the condition of flooding in Bangladesh. “Law enforcement agencies are yet to take any steps after the repeated attacks, which proves that the government favours the attackers,” he claimed. Imran made the remark while speaking a press conference at the National Press Club in Dhaka. He also demanded immediate punishment for the attackers. Furthermore, human rights activist Khushi Kabir claimed that the student wing of ruling Awami League carried out the heinous attacks. Professor Ajoy Roy, father of slain blogger Avijit Roy, also addressed the press conference as well as President of Socialist Students Front Imran Habib Rummon and President of Chhatra Union Jilani Shuvo.
