The deceased is Majnu, son of late Jahangir. He was accused in 14 cases, including murder and robbery charges.
The gunfight took place on Monday night over sharing looted goods
Ramgati OC Iqbal Hossain said: “On information from locals, police went to the spot in front Azad Memorial School and found Mojnu bullet wounded.”
“He was taken to Ramgati Upazila Health Complex where the doctor declared him dead,” he said.
A case was filed against five people in connection to the matter,” the OC said.
