The deceased are Shubho, 10, son of Kausar Mia of Bhadughor village, and his relative Parvez.
Brahmanbaria police outpost In-Charge SI Sanaul Islam said: “A local train crushed them under its wheels while they were making video of Chittagong-bound Sonar Bangla Express on a mobile phone on Sunday morning, leaving them dead on the spot.”
He added that their bodies have been recovered.
