Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said at a press conference yesterday: “Rover Scouts will be deployed at 15 points including intersections and entry-exit points between Dhaka and nearby districts to handle additional pressure of vehicles during the Eid rush.”
“The Rover Scout members will work in three shifts each day starting from August 8 to assist the traffic police,” he said.
The minister said advance tickets for BRTC Eid special service would be available from Thursday in all of the Dhaka's depots.
