The Newspaper Owners’ Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) on Monday announced a five-day holiday for newspapers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha scheduled to be held on May 28 across the country.
In a notice, the association said that the holiday would be observed from May 26 to May 30 following a decision of its executive committee.
As a result, no newspapers will be published from May 27 to May 30, according to the notice signed by NOAB president Matiur Rahman Chowdhury.
