Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
Met office bulletin issued on Friday morning said: "Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions."
The BMD also said the weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
