Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited will temporarily suspend its Dhaka–Sylhet–Manchester–Dhaka flights from March 1, the airline confirmed Tuesday.
Biman’s Public Relations Officer, Boshra Islam, said the suspension had initially been scheduled to start on February 1. “Considering the convenience of passengers holding tickets, the Board of Directors decided to postpone the suspension to March 1,” she added.
Flights on the Sylhet route will also be temporarily halted from the same date. Passengers affected by the suspension will be assisted according to Biman’s existing policies, including alternative flights via the Dhaka–London–Dhaka route, ticket refunds, and changes in flight dates.
Islam urged passengers to contact Biman’s Dhaka and London sales offices, the airline call center (+880 13636 / +88096109-13636), or authorized travel agents for further assistance.
The airline apologized for the inconvenience and said passengers would be informed when services on the Dhaka–Sylhet–Manchester–Dhaka and Sylhet routes resume.
