No request has yet been made for landing permission for the air ambulance that is scheduled to transport BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to London for advanced medical treatment.
On Friday around 9:30am, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Director S M Ragib Samad confirmed that no such request had been submitted.
Director S M Ragib Samad said: "As of 9:30am on Friday, no landing permission had been sought for the air ambulance. However, the authorities remain prepared, and all necessary arrangements will be made immediately once the request is submitted."
