The government has appointed Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq of the Bangladesh Air Force as the new Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification to this effect on Tuesday.
According to the gazette, the officer has been transferred and assigned on deputation to the post of Chairman of CAAB under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. His appointment will take immediate effect in the public interest.
The order, signed by Joint Secretary Abul Hayat Mohammad Rafique, was issued on Wednesday, and directs the concerned ministry to take necessary steps for his deputation.
