To facilitate the return of holidaymakers after Eid-ul-Azha, Bangladesh Railway has begun selling advance tickets for seven days of return travel.
Starting Tuesday, tickets for intercity trains on June 13 are available for purchase. All tickets are being sold exclusively online.
Tickets for westbound trains can be bought from 8am, while sales for eastbound trains will begin at 2pm.
Tickets for June 14 will be available on Wednesday, and those for June 15 will go on sale on June 5.
Each passenger can buy a maximum of four tickets per transaction.
Names of accompanying passengers must be provided when purchasing multiple tickets. Tickets bought under this special arrangement are non-refundable.
