Former state minister for home affairs, Lutfozzaman Babar, has returned to the country after performing Umrah and undergoing treatment.
On Friday, after nearly three weeks abroad, he arrived in Dhaka from Bangkok on a Thai Airways flight, as per a member of the BNP media cell.
Earlier, on January 30, Lutfozzaman Babar left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
During a layover in Dubai, he fell ill and received treatment at a hospital there.
He then proceeded to Saudi Arabia.
