With winter gone and spring arriving, the Meteorological Department forecasts rain after three dry days starting on Saturday.
According to the weather forecast, an extended low-pressure area is currently positioned over West Bengal and its adjoining regions. A seasonal normal low-pressure system is also present over the southern Bay of Bengal.
From 9am on Saturday for the next 24 hours, the weather across the country is expected to remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.
During this time, nighttime temperatures may increase by 1 to 2°C, and daytime temperatures may rise slightly.
On Sunday, the weather is also expected to remain mainly dry across the country, with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog may form in different areas early in the morning. Night and day temperatures may rise by 1 to 2°C.
On Monday, the weather across the country is expected to remain mostly dry, with a slight increase in temperature. Towards the end of this period, some regions may experience rain or thunderstorms.
