All Broadcasters Community (ABC), a platform of news and current affairs presenters, talk show hosts, radio jockeys and program anchors of state-owned and privately-owned satellite TV channels and FM and AM radio stations, officially announced its full executive committee on Tuesday.
At a meeting held at ABC Headquarters, newly elected President Chowdhury Daulat Mohammad Jafry and Secretary General Jamuna TV’s senior news presenter Devashish Ranjan Sarker announced the full committee.
ABC Family Day 2025 was previously celebrated on Friday, at a resort in Purbachal, Dhaka. Members enjoyed a festive atmosphere along with the Press Secretary the President, Sarwar Alam, Director General of Bangladesh Betar ASM Jahid and President of Police Nari Kalyan Sangstha Helena Afroz.
The first annual general meeting was held in the morning session of the Family Day, where it was decided to form a 27-member central executive council for the next two years. The meeting unanimously elected Chowdhury Daulat Mohammed Jafry as president and Devashish Ranjan Sarker as general secretary, entrusting them with the responsibility of forming the committee.
Established on June 7, 2024, ABC is dedicated to supporting and cooperating with TV and radio presenters and promoting their welfare and professional development.
