The third namaz-e-janaza of Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser to the interim government, AF Hassan Ariff, was held at Bangladesh Secretariat in the capital on Saturday.
Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan and Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Nasreen Jahan were present at the Secretariat when the janaza took place.
After the namaz-e-janaza, various ministries paid rich tributes to late Adviser Ariff by placing wreath on the coffin.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Dr Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land ASM Saleh Ahmed and Secretary of the Local Government Division Md Nazrul Islam attended the janaza.
On behalf of Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder, the ministry's Deputy Chief Information Officer Md Jahangir Alam Khan paid glowing tribute by placing flowers on the coffin of the adviser.
