Toy guns used for taking Keraniganj bank officials hostage

The three members of a robbery gang who targeted a branch of Rupali Bank in Keraniganj were using toy guns.

Rupali Bank's Dhaka Divisional Office General Manager, Md Ismail Hossain Sheikh, shared this information after inspecting the bank.

Two locally-made knives were also recovered from them.

Preliminary investigations suggest two of the robbers are 14 years old, while the third is around 18.

The trio surrendered and are currently in the custody of Keraniganj Model police station.

They are currently being interrogated.
