Met office forecasts dry weather across Bangladesh

Lowest temperature recorded at 15°C in Tetulia

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted that the weather may remain dry across the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9am, with chances of light rain in one or two places in Chittagong division.

"The weather may remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies over the country, with chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places in the Chittagong division," the forecast said.

A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay.

The country's highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 32.5°C in Sitakunda, while the lowest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 15°C in Tetulia.

Night and day temperatures may fall slightly across the country. Light to moderate fog may occur in some areas from late night until early morning.
