Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir have been invited to attend the Armed Forces Day programme on Thursday.
The armed forces division delivered the invitation letters to the BNP chairperson's office in Gulshan, Dhaka, on Tuesday.
ABM Abdus Sattar, the BNP chairperson's personal secretary, received the letters, according to the party's media cell.
Additionally, 23 other BNP leaders, including its standing committee members, have also been invited.
