Normalcy has returned to the country's garments sector with no issues being reported at factories in Savar, Ashulia, Narayanganj and Gazipur as of Wednesday morning, according to a situation update from the chief adviser's press wing.
Only one factory (under rule 13(1)) out of 401 was closed throughout the Savar-Ashulia area. All factories in Narayanganj were open, while one factory out of 871 was closed throughout Gazipur.
Besides, one factory out of 301 was closed in the Dhaka metropolitan area.
