Joint forces arrested 35 people, including top drug trader Picchi Raja, from the Geneva camp in Dhaka's Mohammadpur.
They were arrested after several hours of operation on Sunday morning.
A large number of local arms, two pistols, 20 rounds of bullets and drugs were recovered from their possession.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) Senior Assistant Director Shihab Karim confirmed the matter.
He said the drive was conducted against various criminals at Genava camp in Dhaka's Mohammadpur from 5am to 8am.
Preparations are underway to hand them over to Mohammadpur police station through the army, he added.
