Tea stalls of Dhaka University's TSC area will reopen on Thursday after being closed for 15 days.
According to university sources, 11 shops allocated by the university are going to sit at TSC from now on.
The shops were supposed to open from Wednesday.
However, some shopkeepers of TSC said that it was not possible to open the tea shops today as some items including raw materials of the shop were damaged.
Tea will be sold from Thursday.
Dhaka University Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed said: "We received 11 applications for shop registration. We accepted 11 requests. From now on, no shop will be able to sit outside these 11 shops in TSC."
