In a continued effort to support flood-affected families, Kazi Farms has donated 10,000 day-old chicks to help flood-affected families rebuild their livelihoods.
The chicks are being given free of cost. Between 500 and 1,000 families will each receive between 10-20 chicks.
Starting Friday, students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University will distribute the chicks.
The first batch of 5,000 chicks will be distributed at approximately 10am in Phulgazi upazila in Feni district. The remaining 5,000 chicks will be distributed next Friday to the families in Burichang upazila, Comilla.
This is part of Kazi Farms’ effort to support communities in times of crisis.
The company previously contributed Tk1.22 crore to the Chief Advisor's Relief Fund.
