The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) announced a reduction in gold prices on Sunday.
According to a press release, Bajus said the prices of gold were reduced by Tk1,621 per bhori.
The new price will be effective from Monday.
According to the new prices, the best quality, 22-carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk1,26,321, 21-carat gold is Tk1,20,582, and 18-carat gold is Tk1,03,355.
The traditional gold price has been increased to Tk85,450.
