The Mohakhali toll plaza of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway, which was torched by miscreants, has been reopened.
Toll collection started manually (hand to hand) at the toll plaza from 12pm on Thursday.
Earlier, on August 15, manual toll collection began at the Banani-2 toll plaza, which had also been set on fire.
The toll plaza had been closed for over a month.
Miscreants torched the Banani toll booth on July 18 and the Mohakhali toll booth the following day.
After being closed for 24 consecutive days, normal toll operations on the Dhaka Elevated Expressway started on August 11, except for the two burnt toll plazas.
