Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that 147 people have died in clashes with the police and other forces during the quota reform movement.
The home minister gave this information while talking to reporters at the Secretariat on Sunday.
He said: “Among the deceased are police, Awami League leaders and activists, students and people of various professions.”
He said verification is going on to ascertain the number of victims and their details.
