Quota reform protest: Rickshaw puller killed in Jatrabari clash

A rickshaw puller died after receiving a bullet during a clash between protesters and police at Jatrbari in the capital on Thursday afternoon.

The unidentified rickshaw puller received a bullet in the clash around 4:30pm.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The on-duty doctors declared him dead.

Inspector Bacchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, confirmed the matter.

The body was kept at hospital morgue and the concerned police station was informed.
