Hundreds of Jagannath University (JnU) students on Tuesday held a protest march on their campus over Monday’s attack on quota reformists.
The demonstrators started their March at 3:30pm from Kathaltola area of the campus.
At this time, the students started chanting various anti-quota slogans.
Meanwhile, in accordance with the pre-announced program of the Chhatra League, leaders and activists of the Jagannath University unit of Chhatra League left the campus by bus at around 2:45pm heading towards the TSC of Dhaka University.
However, as the protesting students took their positions, local leaders and activists of the Awami League in the area were seen holding a showdown in front of the campus.
