Amid great enthusiasm, the two-day A-Level Graduation Ceremony of Scholastica’s Senior Campus Uttara and Mirpur campus concluded on Thursday evening.
During the closing ceremony hosted in the school's STM hall, a total of 260 accomplished school graduates received certificates across various categories in this annual event.
Dr Firdausi Qadri, the notable scientist and the recipient of the Independence Award and the Ramon Magsaysay Award was present at Scholastica Senior Campus Uttara as the chief guest.
In her speech, she urged students to pursue careers in science and help Bangladesh to progress in the field of technology.
On the other hand, Shannon West, the interim director of the British Council in Bangladesh, was the chief guest at the event at the Mirpur campus. Later, they distributed certificates among the students.
Principal of Scholastica Senior Campus Uttara and Mirpur Farah Sophia Ahmed and Nurun Nahar Mozumder and Head of Affairs Sabina Mustafa also delivered insightful speeches during the two-day graduation ceremony.
The valedictorians from the Class of 2024, Rayed Jaman, Suporna Hasan, Rafat Fahmid, and Tasmiah Jasmine Hasan spoke about their journey of 16 long years at Scholastica.
Among the graduates, 24 students were awarded Highest in Subjects; 18 students were awarded High Honors and 15 students were awarded Honors certificates.
The audience was captivated by the students' mesmerizing performances through dance, songs, and recitations.
A significant number of parents, students, and teachers thoroughly enjoyed this splendid occasion.
