Bangladesh Railway started selling advance train tickets online on Sunday morning to ensure a hassle-free journey for passengers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Tickets for June 12 trains went on sale on Sunday morning.
Sales for trains heading west began at 8am, while tickets for the eastbound trains will be available at 2pm.
Laying down the tracks for better connectivityA top Bangladesh Railway official said the process is going smoothly so far.
Tickets for June 13, 14, 15 and 16 will be sold on June 3, 4, 5 and 6, respectively.
All tickets will be sold online like the previous occasions.
