Following every Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, job aspirants often find themselves confused regarding errors in the question paper.
Following Friday's 46th BCS preliminary examination, numerous posts flooded social media platforms raising doubts about the validity of the question paper and what steps the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) might take to address them.
What PSC does
Asked about the matter, PSC Controller of Examinations (Cadre) Ananda Kumar Biswas said they had not heard about any errors this time.
Usually, when such allegations come, PSC first verifies the matter, and then gets it verified by an expert team.
“If a question is wrong, then we do not deduct any mark. Everyone gets the marks for that question, no matter what their answer is,” he said.
