A minor girl who suffered severe burns in Gazipur gas cylinder fire on Wednesday died at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Saturday night.
The deceased is a three-year-old girl Tayeba.
Dr Tariqul Islam, resident surgeon of the burn institute confirmed the matter.
The child with 90% burns succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment around 7:45pm, said the doctor.
With her, three people died so far in this incident.
Another victim died in the morning.
The deceased Md Mansur Ali Akand, 45, died while undergoing treatment in the postoperative ward of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at around 8:30am.
Partha Sankar Pal, resident physician of the institute, said Mansur sustained burns covering 100% of his body.
Earlier, Md Solaiman Mollah, 45, died while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Friday.
Currently, 28 people are undergoing treatment at the burn institute.
At least 35 people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a house in Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur on Wednesday.
The incident took place in a shanty town of Shafiqul Islam Shafiq in Kaliakair around 6pm.
