Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday left Dhaka for Singapore to undergo a routine health check-up.
Awami League Office Secretary Biplab Barua said the minister left for Singapore on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:30am.
He said the minister is scheduled to return home on a Biman flight on Thursday after the routine check-up at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
Three blocks were found in Obaidul Quader’s heart in March 2019. He was then taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, where he underwent bypass surgery. Since then, he regularly goes to Singapore for health check-ups.
