The 43rd BCS general and technical cadre viva exam schedule has been released, said a notification of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Tuesday.
According to the notification, the viva examination of general and technical cadre will start from October 15. The examination will be held at the head office of the commission in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar of the capital. The exam will continue till November 21.
The notification also informed that BPSC will take viva of 180 candidates every day. A total of 4,266 candidates passed the written examination for both the posts of general and technical/professional cadres.
Besides, 547 candidates passed for technical/professional cadre posts. Qualified candidates will attend the oral test.
The prescribed online form for the 43rd BCS in the written examination should be downloaded and collected from the commission's website. Candidates who have passed the written exam should submit the online form (BPSC Form-1), certificates and documents 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam board.
A total of 1,814 officers will be taken in various cadres in the 43rd BCS. Out of this, 300 people will be appointed in the administration cadre, 100 in the police cadre, 25 in the foreign affairs cadre, 843 in the education cadre, 35 in the audit cadre, 22 in the information cadre, 19 in the tax cadre, 14 in the customs cadre and 19 in the cooperative cadre.
