The 12-year-old runaway, Jonayed Molla, who successfully boarded an international flight by evading security at Dhaka airport, finally saw his dream of flying come true.

Jonaid's dream was realized thanks to Walton Plaza. Sponsored by the organization, he was flown from Dhaka to the tourist city of Cox's Bazar, accompanied by senior officer Liton Hawlader and his uncle Yusuf Molla.

They boarded a flight at 1pm from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

"I boarded a plane a few days ago. But my dream of flying was not fulfilled. It's great to be able to get on a plane today and fly in the sky. I am happy to be able to visit Cox's Bazar. I saw the sea, I walked on the beach. Walton Plaza has fulfilled my dream. I am happy,” said Jonayed, on the phone.

Yusuf Molla, Jonayed’s uncle, said: "I was able to board the first flight of my life because of my nephew. Walton Plaza has brought us to Cox's Bazar. We are staying at a hotel here.”

Wahiduzzaman, brand manager of Walton Plaza, said: "We came to know about the child getting on the plane through the media. I also learned that the child wanted to be a pilot. Hence, we decided to fly him on a plane to Cox’s Bazar. I also found out that the child's father is one of our customers.”

He added that if in the future, Jonayed gets a chance to study at a good institution, they will also help him financially.

Jonayed, hailing from Gopalganj, was found on a flight of Kuwait Airways at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport without a passport, ticket or boarding pass on September 12.

He managed to board the international flight bypassing the security of the airport.

Jonayed Molla is the son of Imran Molla of Paroihati village of Banshbaria union of Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj. He studies at a local madrasa.
