A delegation from Switzerland-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SBCCI) led by its President Engr Abdur Rashid met the new FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam.
Mahbubul Alam said: "Swiss foreign direct investments have made a huge contribution towards the economic development of Bangladesh."
Engr Abdur Rashid emphasized on the presence of Swiss technologies in machinery, watch, chemical, cement, pharmaceutical and other industries, reads a press release.
SBCCI Secretary General and Clarichem Ltd Director Saad Omar Fahim emphasized on the importance of joint collaboration between FBCCI and SBCCI to take the economy of Bangladesh to a new height.
The rest of the executive members who were present in the meeting were Swiss Elegance CEO Abul Hasnat, Alpha Vision Limited MD Sontosh Chandra Nath and SBCCI Coordinator Mohammad Mohi Uddin Bhuiyan.
