A fire broke out in the chemical warehouse of SKF Pharmaceuticals in Cherag Ali (Kathalbari) area of Tongi, Gazipur.
The fire started at 12:50pm on Sunday.
Tongi East police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shah Alam said that three units of Tongi fire station and two units of Uttara fire station have reached the spot and are working to control the fire.
No casualties have been reported yet.
Tongi fire service station official Shahidul Islam said that the fire was brought under control around 3:30pm. Reason behind the fire started will be confirmed after the investigation.
