14-party alliance's leftist partners off to China at CPC's invitation

During the visit, they will join meetings with leaders of international wing of CPC

Top leaders of leftist parties of the 14-party alliance went to China on Monday at the invitation of Communist Party of China (CPC).

They left Dhaka this afternoon in a Southern Airlines flight for Kunming city of China, said a press release.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, MP, Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, Workers Party General Secretary Fazle Hossain Badsha, MP, and Lutfun Nesa Khan, MP, were in the delegation.

They will return home on July 30. 

During the visit, they will join meetings with leaders of the international wing of the CPC.

Before the visit, the Chinese ambassador in Dhaka hosted a dinner in honor of the leftist leaders on Sunday evening and Chinese embassy officials saw the leaders off at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Monday.
