State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said that there will no longer be a requirement to attest applications or documents for government jobs in the future.
“The matter would be simplified to remove the sufferings of the job seekers,” he said while replying to a question from journalists while participating at an event on Sunday.
He said: "In this age of digitalization, you must have seen that we are making changes. We now have big data, and it will all be on people's voter IDs.”
The state minister added that authorities will be able to see people's certificates, where they have studied, and all other relevant information just from voter IDs soon.
He also said that people will have social security numbers or codes. “Everything will be digitalized soon, and there will be no need for attestments.”
