22 changemakers selected for Acumen Fellowship Program in Bangladesh

Twenty-two emerging leaders from diverse social impact initiatives have been selected for the third cohort of Acumen Fellows in Bangladesh.
The 2022 cohort is composed of social entrepreneurs leading for-profit and or non-profit initiatives, intrapreneurs from local institutions, and activists and storytellers leading social movements, according to a media statement.
The fellows represent different backgrounds and identities, and work across various sectors including agriculture, employment, sustainable architecture, health, education, finance and human rights.
With projects impacting all regions of Bangladesh, each of them demonstrates a strong track record and long-term commitment to end poverty and injustice through their work.
Upon completion, the cohort will join Acumen’s global community of more than 1000 Fellows.
They are Ho Chi Minh, Mong Marma, A B M Mahmodul Hasan, Moshfec Ara, Sadikul Islam, Zyma Islam, Razin Mustafiz, Trishila Chakma, Diptha Saha, Kashfia Mahmud, Tori Chakma, Ehsan Kabir, Sadia Jafrin, Shams Jaber, Fawaz Rob, Arman Hasan, Fatiha Polin, Gopal Kumar Dey, Md Nazmul Haque Nehal, Swarna Moye Sarker, Milon Patwary, and Imran Ahmed Chowdhury.
Acumen Academy works to enhance the quality of leadership of social innovators and builders who are working to solve the world's toughest problems and by providing practical tools, practices and resources needed to create new solutions for an interdependent world.
Since 2019, 41 Bangladeshis have completed the Fellowship and have been using the lessons learned to bridge divides, upskill their teams and communities and maximise their impact.
The Fellowship is also offered in India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Spain, United Kingdom, Colombia and East and West Africa.
