The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the 24 hours from 9am on Sunday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions, with moderately heavy falls at places in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, said a BMD bulletin.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged, it added.
The highest temperature on Saturday was 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and Sunday's lowest temperature was 22.4 degrees Celsius, recorded in Madaripur.
The highest rainfall was recorded at 33mm in Hatia and Teknaf in the last 24 hours.
