The official Facebook page of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (Desco) has been hacked by cyber criminals.
It was reportedly hacked at 11:50am on Saturday, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Information Officer Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin confirmed the information to Dhaka Tribune.
He said currently all government cyber teams including Desco are working to recover the page.
Everyone is requested to refrain from exchanging any messages and avoiding any posts until the page is restored.
Everyone will be notified after the page is recovered, he added.
