Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal no 3 while riverports advised to hoist signal no 1 as deep conviction is taking place over the north-west of the Bay of Bengal.
According to the Met Office bulletin, rain or thundershower with temporary west/north westerly gusty or squally wind is likely to occur over the regions of Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar regions with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour.
