The “A” unit (Science) admission test for the 22 cluster universities is going to be conducted on Saturday from 12pm to 1pm.
A total of 166,933 candidates will be competing for 9,875 seats in the “A” unit, implying a fierce contest with 17 candidates vying for each seat.
The admission test for the “A” unit will be held across 19 centres of the 22 cluster universities.
The seating plan for the exam centres has also been published.
A total of 56,536 students will be taking the exam at the Jagannath University centre.
Besides, the test will be conducted at eight sub-centres as well.
These sub-centres include Dhaka University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Notre Dame College, Udayan Uchcha Madhyamik Bidyalaya, Siddheswari Girls' College, University Laboratory School and College, Government Bangla College, and Government College of Applied Human Sciences.
Moniruzzaman Khandaker, dean of Life and Earth Sciences at Jagannath University, stated that all preparations had been finalized.
He expressed hope that students would participate in the exam in a disciplined manner.
Joint Convener of the Cluster Admission Test Committee and Jagannath University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Imdadul Haque informed that all centres are ready for the final examination on Saturday.
