Four homes were totally destroyed and six others were damaged during a nor'wester late on Monday that also uprooted multiple huge trees in the coastal upazila of Kalapara in Patuakhali.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jahangir Hossain said the upazila administration would give financial aid to the people affected by the storm.
The union parishad chairman had been asked to prepare a list of victims, he added.
