The death toll from an explosion at a steel re-rolling mill in Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj rose to five on Friday night.
Golam Rabbani, 35, hailing from Lalmonirhat, died while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery with 95% burn injuries, said the hospital authorities.
Two others injured in the explosion are undergoing treatment.
The explosion took place on Thursday afternoon when workers were melting iron at the mill in Rupganj.
Seven workers were injured in the explosion.
Meanwhile, a three-member probe body has been formed to investigate the explosion.
