The traffic division fined seven motorcycle riders for not following rules while crossing the Padma Bridge on Friday morning.
Munshiganj Traffic Inspector Bazlur Rahman said seven bikers violated the rules by changing from the designated lanes for motorcycles and entering the main lanes.
They were stopped at the Jazira end and fined a total of Tk21,000, with each being fined Tk3,000, he added.
